Welcome to THUnion! From now on you are a member of us! This article will tell you everything you need to know to happily play in THUnion.

Join Procedure

Change Group Nickname

Think of a Depatrment ID that is easy to pronounce and hasn't been adopted by other members (namely think of a name for yourself), and change your group nickname so that it is easy to recognize your department ID. You can add other things as you want, but it is recommended to contain your Minecraft ID. Though this is not a mandatory step, it still help you to be recogninzed by others.

Register ID

Have seen "(假)部娘 [遇事不决私戳#help]"? Friend and DM her and send the following commands:

  • #setID <id>
    • Register your Department ID. This affects how bumon-nusume calls you in the group-server message forwarding function;
    • Some members prefer to completely relies on the forwarding to know what is been talking in the main group when they are playing on the main server, and missing department ID would make your message unable to be forwarder, affecting the integrity of the meaasges they see. Therefore, even if you may seldom be on the main server, please set your Department ID properly.
  • #setMCID <mcid>
    • Register your Minecraft ID. Since the main server is white-listed, you need to register your Minecraft ID through this command before you can log into the main server.
    • It is normal to see messages saying "username does not exist" when you set this for the first time.

After registeration, you can use #info to check your information.

Play on the main server

Game version

The version of the main server is Java Edition 1.21, you can use unmodded client to join the server, but adding some mods would greatly improve your play experience and is recommended. Modpack by other members can be found in the group files of the main group, and you can just download it.

If you didn't know much about the newer versions, it is recommended to read Java Edition guides to know what's new in these versions.

Server Seed

The seed is public and its value is -6885878063362448068. Use it to find some structures or features if you want.

Notice: In those areas where the absolute value of x- and z-coordinate is less than 6000, things added in 1.21 update cannot be found, including but not limited to Trial Chamber and variants of wolves.

Server Rules

    Main article: Department Rule, Specific Provisions: Main Server Operation Rules

Some important rules in the main server are listed below.

  • Gamerules:
    • doFireTick：true;
    • keepInventory：false;
    • mobGriefing：true;
    • playersSleepingPercentage：10.
  • No cheat allowed;
  • No PvP allowed, unless permitted by the opponent;
  • New buildings should follow three-chunk rule;
    • New buildings must be at least three chunks away from existing buildings, unless permitted by the builder of the existing building;
    • Some reigons may have their own rules.
  • Exploration of the main server is limited to the area where the absolute value of x- and z-coordinate is less than 8000.
    • Generally it is not allowed to approach the mob switchs as well.

初入服务器

你出生在THUnion标志性建筑物之一——二校门之下，在它正下方是为了减少卡顿而炸出的出生点空置域。

为了获得生存所需物资，请向北沿着深板岩道路到达全物品（或者经由下界大厅前往），这里的食物、烟花火箭、不死图腾等物品可自行取用，你也可以在这里找到鞘翅和全套钻石装备和工具。（厉行节约，从我做起。输入!!stats rank used firework_rocket可以查看某位玩家遥遥领先的烟花火箭使用量，不要学他！）

以下是一些你可能想做的事：

  • “工欲善其事，必先利其器。”想要使用与全物品标准附魔不同的工具？下界(20, -190)处的下界传送门可以到达末影猫超市（猫超），这里设置有村民交易所，出售全套的钻石套装和工具。薅走箱子里存放的绿宝石，将你需要的装备、附魔书买齐吧——不必担心，绿宝石在这里毫不值钱。随后继续从下界前往(-210, -6)处的下界传送门到达小西天经验塔，获得不限量的经验，然后对刚才买到的装备、工具使用砂轮和铁砧吧！
  • 要来主城看看吗？进入下界(-20, 80)处的下界门，即可到达金合欢市的流火工业区，大量的小型机器可以满足木头、石头等常用材料的需求；沿着公路向西穿过二号桥就进入了金合欢市的核心居住区，相信这里的美景将让你流连忘返。（主世界(-415,640), (-240, 430)等位置还有彩蛋哦！）
  • 独乐乐不如众乐乐。所有聚落都期待新玩家的加入，在寻找想加入的聚落或者还没决定究竟加入哪里的话，都可以在群里询问。
  • 我们需要更多的开拓者和建设者！日暮里地区、凛冬城地区、云岭地区和恶地城地区风景优美但尚未开发，在这些地区安家或许是不错的选择；当然，你也可以找到一片目前还一无所有的荒地，将其一点一点打造成属于自己的聚落——建议使用在线地图找到无人居住的荒地，不要违反“三区块原则”。
  • 于终末之地见证奇观。进入下界(0, -300)处的下界传送门，再通过末地传送门来到末地，这里的景色将超乎你的想象。
  • 游戏过程中遇到需要材料却不知如何获取且全物品存货不足的情况时，可以查看二周目工业设施导引并善用浏览器的查找功能。若没有找到，可以使用群友查询功能。

探索服务器

    参见：Category:About the main server

你可能会想进一步探索服务器。这时，你可以呼叫群友为你进行导览，这将用约2小时的时间为你简要介绍服务器中一些具有标志性的地点，帮助你快速了解它们。在那之后你可以通过查阅资料，在空闲时间前往你感兴趣的地方详细参观，也可以选择在一些尚未开发的地方欣赏自然风光。

死亡重生

如果是掉入虚空而死，你身上的东西将永久的丢失，因为服务器的游戏规则keepInventory是false；但是如果只是被怪砍死、摔死或者感受到动能的话，也许在服/群里呼叫群友援助可以帮助你挽回损失……
